There are a number of support tools available for clinicians to support you in delivering care to people with alcohol and other drug-related issues:

Communities of Practice

30 clinical Communities of Practice (CoP), including alcohol and other drugs, have been established to support the response to COVID-19. The purpose of the multidisciplinary CoPs is to support clinicians to network and share strategies on pandemic preparedness. For more information, visit the NSW Health website.

Drug & Alcohol Specialist Advisory Service (DASAS) 

A FREE 24/7 support line for health professionals. If you’re worried about a person presenting to you with alcohol and drug-related health concerns, you can call 1800 023 687 for immediate advice and guidance or visit the website.

Opioid Treatment Line (OTL)

OTL provides information, referrals, support and a forum for pharmacotherapy concerns. Call 1800 642 428 from Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 5:30pm or visit the website.
