A number of 'Screening Saves Lives' videos have been developed by South Eastern Sydney Local Health District for South-East Asian, Nepalese, and Bangladeshi communities

Your Room, the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD), and Illawarra Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Local Drug Action Team have translated a series of 'Where can I get help when alcohol or drugs are a problem?' videos into the following languages:

Multicultural smoking quitline services

The Multicultural Health Communication Service provides free, confidential, and tailored telephone advice to assist smokers in the quitting process.

  • Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) – call 1300 784 836
  • Korean – call 1300 784 823 (leave a message to be called back by a Quitline Advisor with an interpreter)
  • Vietnamese – call 1300 784 865
