New videos to support people bereaved by suicide

The Illawarra Shoalhaven Suicide Prevention Collaborative (the Collaborative) today launched a suite of 11 videos as part of a campaign supporting people who are bereaved by suicide. This includes two compilation videos entitled ‘What helped us get through' and ‘What would you say to someone recently bereaved?’.

A new drug and alcohol withdrawal management and rehabilitation service is now available to assist people living in the Shoalhaven including Jervis Bay, St Georges Basin and Sanctuary Point.

Given the lower COVID-19 case numbers and rates of community transmission in NSW and the region, the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District will wind-up its COVID-19 Pop-up Testing Clinic on Wednesday 25 November 2020.

A free mental health coaching program developed by Beyond Blue is now available in South Eastern NSW. NewAccess, delivered in conjunction with Wellways and COORDINARE, is a six-session program offering practical advice on how to manage the pressures, worries and stresses of life.
