Committee Member

Kelly is the CEO, Secretary and Public Officer of Healthy Cities Illawarra, a regional not for profit charity established in 1987 as part of the World Health Organisation’s Healthy Cities movement to advance health and wellbeing outcomes by addressing social, economic and environmental causes of health inequity.  

Kelly comes from a health promotion background in the not for profit and government sectors in chronic disease prevention, community development, social health policy and advocacy.

She also spent 15 years in the university sector as a researcher in social marketing and public health research focusing on alcohol and junk food advertising, asthma self-management, organ and blood donation, mental health and dementia related projects.
