Mr Patrick Reid was appointed as Chief Operating Officer of Uniting in July 2025. He was previously CEO of IRT, a large not-for-profit provider of senior services (home care services, residential aged care, and retirement living) across NSW, ACT and Queensland.

Mr Reid originally trained and worked as a pharmacist. Previous roles include: Director - Aged Care, Community and Disability – Stewart Brown Chartered accountants; Chief Executive Officer at LASA (Leading Age Services Australia); and, General Manager, Pharmacy Guild of Australia. He joined IRT in 2018 and, under his stewardship, the organisation modernised its ageing infrastructure, expanded its services and drove sustainable, mission-aligned growth. His strong digital innovation agenda led to IRT winning numerous digital technology awards.

Mr Reid is a GAICD graduate and has served on several Boards including Afford, a large disability service provider, and he is currently undertaking a Masters of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Wollongong.
