Join local activities for R U OK? Day and World Suicide Prevention month
19 August 2026
COORDINARE is committed to supporting the wellbeing of our communities through suicide prevention awareness and education. Suicide affects us all. Every day, nine Australians die by suicide, and there are things we can all do to help. Thursday, 10 September 2026 is R U OK?Day, a national day of action when we remind Australians that every day is the day to ask, “Are you OK?” if someone in your world is struggling with life’s ups and downs.
Build your confidence to support others
As part of R U OK? Day and World Suicide Prevention month, people in South Eastern NSW are encouraged to complete the free Recognise and Respond suicide prevention training.
- Recognise and Respond suicide prevention training takes around one hour to complete and provides practical guidance on how to recognise when someone may be struggling and how to respond with confidence, care, and support.
- Visit LearnToReachIn.info and scroll to the bottom of the webpage to follow the enrolment instructions.
