Our role and region
COORDINARE is the South Eastern NSW Primary Health Network (PHN). Our role is to improve the health and wellbeing of our community which is one of the largest rural and regional populations in NSW.
Our region stretches from Helensburgh in the north to the Victorian border in the south and inland to Cooma/Monaro, Queanbeyan, Yass and Goulburn.

Applications now open - APNA Festival of Nursing attendance scholarships

In recognition of the valuable role that nurses play in primary care, COORDINARE is offering two nurse scholarships to attend the Festival of Nursing in Adelaide from 25-27 July 2024. Applicants must be practice nurses working in general practice in the South Eastern NSW region.

New suicide prevention program to unite alcohol and other drugs sector

The launch of a new suicide prevention program will target the gap in education on how to care for people who are shuffled between services for mental health and alcohol and drug use. In some tragic cases, these people can fall through the cracks.

To improve mental health services in South Eastern NSW, COORDINARE has commissioned seven new mental health services – two Head to Health services in Shellharbour and Moruya as well as five Mental Health Hubs in Bega, Goulburn, Queanbeyan, Shoalhaven and Wollongong. The services are free and no appointment or referral is needed.
