The Palliative Aged Care Consultancy Service (PACCS) offers an evidence-based model of clinical nurse consultant-led palliative care needs rounds for aged care residents.

​The PACCS Clinical Nurse Consultant visiting the Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) is not a separate service provider but works as part of the facility’s care team, working collaboratively with the staff to assess, plan and manage a coordinated approach to each resident’s care.

Clinical Nurse consultants also provide education both in formal settings and informal settings within aged care facilities.
