16 September 2025
Do you have the skills and expertise to join COORDINARE's Southern NSW Clinical Council, to help drive improvements in health care accessibility and outcomes for your region?
COORDINARE - South Eastern NSW PHN is seeking expressions of interest from General Practitioners to fill two vacancies on our Southern NSW Clinical Council.
Why Join the Southern NSW Clinical Council?
As a trusted GP in your community, you are uniquely positioned to influence how health care is delivered across Southern NSW. This is your opportunity to:
-
Represent your peers and ensure their insights and experiences shape regional health planning;
-
Act as a conduit between your local GP network and COORDINARE, bringing forward issues, and innovative ideas;
-
Collaborate with like-minded clinicians to improve access, equity, and outcomes in primary care.
Your voice will help ensure that decisions made at the system level reflect the realities of general practice on the ground.
The Role of the Clinical Council
The Clinical Council includes a range of health professionals who work in primary care who provide strategic clinical advice to COORDINARE’s Board Members to:
-
Offer insights into local health system challenges and opportunities;
-
Help shape commissioning decisions and service design;
-
Bring forward issues raised by their GP colleagues to inform regional priorities;
-
Provide feedback on proposals, submissions, and emerging initiatives.
This is a collaborative space where your clinical expertise and community knowledge can directly influence health system improvement.
