SPDS Update
24 August 2020
The SPDS project (which incorporates PIP QI requirements) enables practices to partake in holistic population-level continuous quality improvement activities, in partnership with COORDINARE. It is well understood that if all practices within a medical neighbourhood (cluster) work towards a shared vision and common goal, we can collectively achieve greater area-specific health and service delivery improvements.
From August 2020, the SPDS project will aim to foster a wider population health approach to undertake quality improvement. The aim will be to focus on one cluster specific, and possibly one practice specific, measurable goal to undertake region-specific, data-driven, quality improvements.
