  • New videos to support people bereaved by suicide

    The Illawarra Shoalhaven Suicide Prevention Collaborative (the Collaborative) today launched a suite of 11 videos as part of a campaign supporting people who are bereaved by suicide. This includes two compilation videos entitled ‘What helped us get through' and ‘What would you say to someone recently bereaved?’.

    Given the lower COVID-19 case numbers and rates of community transmission in NSW and the region, the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District will wind-up its COVID-19 Pop-up Testing Clinic on Wednesday 25 November 2020.

    The Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) Intellectual Disability Mental Health Service (IDMHS) aims to improve mental health recovery outcomes for people experiencing an intellectual disability, by increasing the capacity and integration of associated services in the region.

  • Enhancing the health care of people with an intellectual disability

    We are excited to share with you the progress in extending and enhancing the health care landscape of people with intellectual disability.  

    In 2010-11 the NSW Government funded the initial establishment of three pilot Specialist Intellectual Disability Health Teams (SIDHT) and the ACI Intellectual Disability Health Network.

  • Location announced for headspace Batemans Bay

    Building works at the new headspace for the Batemans Bay region have commenced, with Relationships Australia joining COORDINARE – South Eastern NSW PHN and Fiona Phillips MP, Member for Gilmore to announce the location of the centre at 1/11 Clyde Street, Batemans Bay.
